Dear Doc Rock,
So, I've been messaging this guy on Tumblr anonymously, asking him questions to get to know him, and he told me to take a chance. So a week ago, I told him that I really liked him. And like I really liked him because he was the first guy I've ever asked out without any re-assurance.
Before, people told that they liked me before I asked them out so I had re-assurance. But he hasn't responded, and I don't know what to do. I don't know if he's saying he doesn't like me by not responding, or he's just a jerk. Should I say something back?

Dear Hopeless,
It's hard to say what's going on here without knowing more. What I can say is this: You don't really know this guy, granted, who's to say something can't come from a situation like this; people have found the loves of their lives online.
In reality though, it sounds like something you shouldn't pursue. I think he was just trying to be nice and inspire you to live life without fear, which is a lesson in itself. Often, we are intrigued by things that are fresh and exciting and want something great to come from them, like this situation, and we also need to remember to stay grounded and take real stock of things, too.
Whatever's gonna happen, is gonna happen! Keep your Head Up,
Rock
