What if my best friend is dating someone that all her friends hate? We all know he's shady, but we don't know what to do. Any advice? She's Too Blinded by "Love"... Sincerely, Frustrated Friend

Dear Frustrated Friend,

This is a situation that should be approached with caution. I've never dated anyone "shady", per se, but I have had experiences where my friends or family didn't agree on the choices I made in the dating department. The best thing you can do is tell your friend how you all feel in the nicest way possible. DON'T TALK ABOUT IT BEHIND HER BACK no matter how much you don't want to hurt her feelings. 

If she still wants to stay with him, then you have to respect her wishes. As good friends, you will stick by her because if he really is as shady as you say, there will be a time when she needs you all to lean on when she's hurt. Finally, I think you all need to wait it out, sometimes people need some getting used to. He may be a really good guy and you may not get to see the side of him that she does. You have to trust your friend to make her own decisions. Best of Luck, Rock
